Choosing a college major

Hi!

I am a sophomore in high school this year, and I am thinking about what major to choose in college. I already know how important it is to choose a major you would enjoy, but I want to know if your skills and experience in that particular area of study take precedence. For example, if I want to major in engineering, but the subject of english comes easier for me than math, should I consider a major that applies more english than math skills?

If the pay difference is negligible, then do what you enjoy. If there is a huge difference in pay, then you need to consider how you want to live. Happy and poorer or productive, less happy, and wealthier. Only you can decide what is best for you. I will say, though, that happiness is hard to beat.
