Hi, I have been wanting to go into either interior design or architecture major but dont know if there is any colleges with cheap and easy acceptance rate. I am a first-generation college student so my mom says she cant help me that much, so I came on here to ask for some help. We live in washington state and since its only my mom and my siblings I would say we have a low income.
Thank you <3
Hi @jaydenleann!
It looks like Washington State University might be a good fit. Its website says, “The interior design major at WSU balances study in art, architecture, and humanities with a strong hands-on component.” WSU is a public four-year university with an average cost of $15,000 per year after receiving aid. Its acceptance rate is 86%. My advice on the money front is to apply for the FAFSA and scholarships. If you have a college counselor at your school, it might be helpful to talk to them about your goals and obstacles. I don’t know much about Washington’s college process, but I hope this helps!
Hi @jaydenleann!
Which state do you live in? Are you low-income? This information will be useful to give you a good college list.

YES, everything above I agree with, but you may also want to go onto your intended universities website and use their net cost calculators, it really comes in handy especially when your trying to not waste money applying to university's that you may not be able to attend due to cost. Good Luck <3
