Target chem schools?
Answered

Does anyone know any target schools that have some good chem research programs? It's difficult to find schools besides reaches. For reference I have a 4.0 GPA and 1480 SAT (retaking soon) with a 5 in AP chem

Hey there @hellurrr!

I don't know anything about your GPA, test scores, or extracurriculars, so I'm using schools that would be safeties/targets for me, but you can find some that are geared towards you by going under CollegeVine's 'schools' tab and sorting by 'admissions difficulty' and 'major.'

In any case, here's some of what I found:

- Austin College

- Brandeis University

- Clark University

- Clemson University

- Franklin & Marshall College

- George Washington University

- Hampden-Sydney College

- Howard University

- Illinois Wesleyan University

- Kenyon College

- Lehigh University

- North Carolina State University

- Oberlin College

- Reed College

- Rollins College

- St. Olaf College

- SUNY Stony Brook & SUNY Binghamton

- Trinity College

- Union College (New York)

- University of California, San Diego

- University of Rochester

- Virginia Tech

Good luck!
