recommendation

Hi, I'm a senior in high school

My GPA is a 1.7

I need help finding a good college that could accept me despite my low GPA.

My school councilors have given me the option to go to a community college but I really would not like to go to a community college but would rather jump straight into college

could anyone please give me recommendations on colleges that would accept a GPA as low as mine.

You could try for a state college in your state, which typically have lower requirements for instate applicants. However, a GPA of 1.7 is not going to get you into most schools, unless you have really amazing test scores, essays, and extracurriculars. Your best bet might be to go to community college for a year and then transfer somewhere else. I know it may not be ideal, but it may be your only option.

I also found this website, which can help find colleges based on your GPA: my.appily.com/register/core/matches1/preferences?utmsource=google&utmmedium=paid-social&utmcampaign=FTFGenericQualified&utmcontent=151548053497&utmterm=college%20finder%20based%20on%20gpa&gclid=CjwKCAiA4smsBhAEEiwAO6DEjUI00kyf7-jD0a4mE7Tdw8NNpimLkBjfOLhRlyXXzePMhfPwkB1oxhoCltkQAvDBwE

I believe Niche also has a feature that does this.

Good luck!
