I think you will have great difficulty getting into a university with a 1.7. I highly recommend considering a semester or 2 of community college and then transferring into the university you really want to be at. The requirements for transfer students are much lower than those for 1st-year students often, and as long as you do good at community college, you will have proved your ability to handle college. There's nothing bad about beginning at a community college- it is much less expensive and closer to home, sometimes even online. It is also easier to handle a job while studying. Please talk with your parents and your high school counselor if possible to figure out what options you may have!

To boil it down, I do not think you will get into Rowan right now. However, don't be discouraged! There are other ways to get to your dream university.

Hope this helps. Please lmk if you have any more questions! Happy to help :)

66% still gives you a good chance. Schools care a lot about your motivation and personality, sometimes more than academics. Focus on extracurriculars. A passion project is highly looked upon.
