College Recommendations???

Hi, I’m a sophomore in high school living in Georgia. I’m interested in majoring in English with the eventual goal of working in publishing. I’ve already considered private schools in GA like Berry and Mercer, but I’d love some recs in the general southeast, no farther north than like Virginia. Thanks!!!

There's tons of options in the southeast!

Emory University in GA (english.emory.edu/home/undergraduate/index.html)

Wake Forest University NC (english.wfu.edu/undergraduate-study/)

Florida State University FL (english.fsu.edu/undergrad-studies)

Auburn University AL (bulletin.auburn.edu/undergraduate/collegeofliberalarts/departmentofenglishengl/)

Clemson University SC (clemson.edu/cah/academics/english/undergraduate/index.html)

I would say one of the best options near you is Belmont University. It is currently my top choice of school and one of the best options in the country for publishing. The program has seen lots of success with previous Alumni and offers various opportunities for internships to launch you right off the bat. You should consider looking into this program. Best of luck!
