ir/poli-sci undergrad help?

I was wondering for help in narrowing down good programs/unis are for going into international relations and poli sci I'm thinking of either going into law, international business law, or eventually working for the United Nations.

Here are some of my basic stats: 4.18 GPA, 1310 SAT (am retaking dw), 13 APs, 17 Honors, 1 Dual-Credit.

My list right now is the following, but I wanna shorten it down to a balanced amount of 10-15 schools and wanted some advice. I'm keeping the three Texas schools because I'm from Texas!

List (in order of acceptance rate):

carnegie mellon university

new york university

university of notre dame

ucsd

ucsb

ut austin

uc davis

suny binghamton

university of georgia

university of maryland

george washington university

fordham university

uconn

penn state

umass amherst

american university

ut dallas

texas state university

I would try to really consider if I would really want to go to a school in that state and then debate that way. From your list I would more likely consider schools from Texas (because you're from there) and New York because that could open up opportunities at the UN.
