Ny colleges

I am currently a sophomore looking to go pre-med. I would love to become an orthopedic surgeon. I want to go to a college in the New York state or the surrounding states. I DO NOT want to go anywhere near New York City. I would love to play women's lacrosse or soccer but if it doesn't happen it's okay. I am open to Any recommendations or suggestions. Thank you so much

Hey there!

I would suggest you look into Rutgers University, NJ. We have a pretty good pre-med program which offers a plan that allows you to complete your undergrad+doctorate in 7 years instead of the regular 8.

Also we have a pretty good women's lacrosse team as well!

lmk if you have any other questions

I know a lot of people who are premed at Binghamton. Its known as the IVY of SUNYs but it's also supposed to be really fun. I know you said no New York City, but Brooklyn College and City College have accelerated pre-med programs that are completely free and can guarantee you a spot in med school!
