Looking for safety and target schools

3.8 unweighted GPA

Junior taking three IB classes, took one college class in Sophomore year

Want to major in theatre/acting/or music

Done choir/music since 4th grade, theatre since 9th grade

Looking for schools on the West Coast/PNW

Feel free to recommend East Coast schools too, only if they're really good

My point is that I don't want to go to school in Kansas or something

Looking at grades and classes (while important for academic admission) isn't all to consider when it comes to applying for the arts (theatre, music, visual arts ect), many schools while also taking into consideration your academics will also look at skill/growth potential through auditions, supplemental essays, interviews, and resumes. On the topic of schools, Pacific Lutheran University, Central Washington University, and Western Washington University (no audition) are both some schools in the PNW with a more diverse theatre program. I know PLU has a great choir also. UC Irvine and CalArts are also well known and respected schools on the west coast.

Los Angeles College of Music (LAMC) might be something to look into. They don't have it on this platform but you can check out their website, lacm.edu

I know AMDA is great, along with Boston Conservatory and Emerson. Really just depends on what your looking for.
