Hi!

I'm part of the class of 2026. I plan to major in neuroscience and minor in CS (maybe take some engineering courses as well). I prefer colleges in the Northeast, but any rec will be taken seriously.

Stats:

- 1550 SAT

- 4.0 Unweighed GPA

- 8 AP exams

- Key Club Lieutenant Governor (leadership)

- Founded a Psych Club

- Black Belt in TKD, on the demonstration team

- ETC...

Current Considerations:

- Amherst College

- Williams College

- Tufts University

- Boston University

- Brandeis University

- Olin College of Engineering (will pursue the Biomedical Track)

- MIT (one can hope)

You possess an exceptionally strong academic and extracurricular profile, making you a highly competitive applicant for top universities, especially given your interdisciplinary interest in Neuroscience, CS, and Engineering. Your current list includes excellent choices like Tufts, BU, and the LACs, while MIT is a strong reach. Consider expanding your search to other top-tier institutions renowned for interdisciplinary STEM, such as Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, UPenn, or Cornell, which offer robust programs bridging your [mcdvoice]mcdvoice.site/) diverse interests. Remember to evaluate whether you prefer a dedicated engineering major or integrating engineering principles within a science focused curriculum.
