Hey..
I'm a junior at high school in India. I want to do major in Business and minor in cs . I also wanted to play sports or do dance at college.
Any US universities recommendations who are need - blind (which give 100% financial aid) for international students. With acceptance rate not that hard. Like 20-40%.
Hey!
That’s awesome you’re aiming for Business major and CS minor, plus getting involved in sports or dance sounds like a great college experience!
For U.S. universities that are need-blind for international students and offer 100% financial aid, the list is pretty small. Schools like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Amherst, and MIT do that, but their acceptance rates are usually much lower than 20-40%.
If you want schools with a bit higher acceptance rate (20-40%) and good financial aid, you might look at universities that meet full demonstrated need but aren’t fully need-blind. Some of these include:
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) – great for business, sports, and some aid for internationals
University of Pittsburgh – known for decent aid and a range of programs
Tulane University – good mix of academics and extracurriculars with some aid options
Another tip: many good state universities and private schools have scholarships and aid for internationals but may not be fully need-blind. It’s smart to apply to a mix of reach and match schools.
Good luck — it sounds like a great plan!
What can I do if my high school or my area does not have any AP exam or honor classes. It is there in my country but we have to travel a long with your means to another state and exam is also costly like means we have to give something like 5 to 6 AP exams along with the cost of travelling it will be 2 months salary of my parents. And with school fees of me and sibling, house expenditure ,loans it's like quite expensive for me.
I am thinking of earning by own like online we don't have part time jobs . How can I earn like digital something. And also please recommend about any alternatives of exams.
