Undergrad Major for an aspiring veterinarian.

I'm looking into colleges but a lot of my choices depend heavily on what major I want. After I graduate undergrad, I know I want to move onto vet school and this has left me with several ideas for a major. The ones I'm considering are Pre-Vet, Vet Technology, Biology (possibly with a veterinary pathway/focus), Biomed, Zoology, or Animal Science (possibly with a veterinary pathway/focus). All of them have their pros. Pre-vet specifically works to prepare students for vet school. Vet technology on the other hand will help to become a vet AND will allow me to get a higher paying job to support me in veterinary school in the given field and field work looks good when applying. Biology and biomed are both related majors but they would also give me an easier out if in the future I find that this isn't the career path for me or if I can't find work. Zoology and animal science will give me more hands on animal experience and allow me to work with numerous different species that MIGHT not be possible in a standard pre-vet class. It wouldn't give me much on the medical side of things but that can always be done in vet school and would be presumably more enjoyable.
