United Kingdom University Rankings

I am an American who recently started my Junior year of high school, and am looking at 7 universities in the United Kingdom:

- Oxford

- Cambridge

- Edinburgh

- St. Andrews

- The University of Buckingham

- St Mary's University, Twickenham

- Roehampton

I know that Oxford and Cambridge are among the European Ivy League, and that on the UCAS application, I can only apply to one or the other. As for the others, I was wondering if they are competitive with the Top 50 Universities in the United States, and if any regular "good student" could get in.

For the rankings, all I care about is academic excellence and quality.

I am looking to study International Relations, Politics, and History, or preferably, a combination of the three.

I'm also considering attending school in the UK, and in my opinion, I would choose either Oxford or Cambridge. But it's completely up to you.
