Hi!

I am currently a sophomore, and I want to become an elementary school teacher. I take AP and Honors classes (most of my classes this year are weighted). I took the ASVAB and scored a 70 overall because I want to join the Air Force to study meteorology and also major in Teaching. My PSAT score as a freshman was 860. My GPA as a freshman was 4.0, and this year it is 4.20. I have a few colleges in mind, but I need suggestions, and I am open to anything :D

Alabama State University is a great option because of the freedom of majors it has

If you aren't gonna help, there's no point in even commenting. You can join the Air Force and go to college for something else.

i know but it's a unique and slightly questionable path which seems random so you shouldn't commit yourself to being an elementary school teacher because after meteorology in the air force there's a ton of career paths you could take. and besides you're a sophomore, college lists should be made junior year. your PSAT 9 score was not good so focus on getting a good sat and you didn't provide your extracurriculars anyway so it's hard to actually give you a good college recommendation

I do understand what you're saying. I've been interested in space since I was 6. Lately, my career path has changed, but I have a strong interest in both, and I have already talked to an Air Force recruiter, and they had told me that it's a good career alignment, and surprisingly, already knew what I wanted to do. Yeah..my PSAT score is not the greatest, but I have to take it again this year. I do Soccer, Cross-Country, and Track. So I should've put more information as well.

ok well what I can say is none of your ec's are explicitly tied towards either meteorology or education so try to work on things related to that. good luck
