college advice

I'm currently a sophomore in Texas and I'm looking to go to Rice university for psychology. My college application so far would be very basic and there is nothing on it really that makes me stand out. My class rank is in the top %20 of my class and my GPA on a hundred point scale is a 98. Any advice on how to make myself stand out more?

I think you should do some sports that are easier to get into in your school, and try to stick to them for the rest of high school. Also, try to participate in a bunch of volunteering activities, and make sure you get at least above 130+ hours. However, try to avoid joining random clubs or sports, and join clubs that are connected to your major, like HOSA. If there's no club like that in your school, you should try making it. Another option is to start a small nonprofit, focusing on resolving one issue (ex: providing resources for female shelters).
