There are a lot of careers in mental health, great field! It depends on what you want your income to be and how long you want to stay in school.

Social work: bachelor's degrees can be case workers, master's degrees can do therapy (may be good if you are interested in mental health)

Psychiatrist: med school required (so a lot of school) but the income afterwards is super high.

Psychologist: Phd required, income will not be as high as a psychiatrist's. No med school though.

Psychiatric nurse practitioner: similar work as a psychiatrist/psychologist but with less schooling. However, nursing school needed (doctorate of nursing).

Additionally, if you want to do therapy, there are a bunch of licenses you can get like Licensed Professional Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist.
