Is Girl Who Code Pathways and Chicago Online Summer good choices of summer activities 2026 (I am currently a junior btw)

I want to apply to some mathematical programs like Mathcamp and Mathily, but I find them too difficult for my level, so I decided to opt for those two programs. They save unnecessary costs, but I am not sure they can be a good part of my application.

I hope you guys can give me some advice on what activities I should choose in my case, or if you have entered either of these programs, can you give me a review? Thanks.

By the way, I heard it is better to choose a program after which you are required to CREATE a project based on what you have learned. Is it true?
