Ok so I am currently a junior with a 4.0 UW GPA, a 27 ACT and working on boosting that. I am involved in a couple different clubs and extracurriculars. I have taken 3 APS: Ap Gov, APUSH, and Ap Lang. I plan on taking 4 more next year: Ap Lit, Ap Studio, Ap French, and APES. My issue is that I have way too many interests and possible career paths and I simply cannot choose.
I have mostly decided I don't want anything in the medical field but other than that I enjoy basically everything. I am more of a history and english person and have always excelled in those. I love anthropology, paleontology, archaeology, etc. I have always had a passion for historical accuracy and I really enjoy ancient history and medieval history. However, I also really enjoy topics like outer space and I think majoring in aerospace would be awesome, and I've also considered going into the air force or being a pilot! I just am not necessarily a math whiz and am not sure how I would do with that. Another interest of mine is movies, I really love everything about them. I think it would be incredibly fun to be on the behind the scenes of cinema (not being an actor though, more like directing.) Some more things I have considered that I won't ramble about are: environmental science, law, architecture, and zoology. I am a huge animal person! But I don't think I would want to be a normal vet that works on dogs and cats, I like bigger or more exotic animals.
I just am at such a loss because I am facing a lot of pressure about knowing what I should commit my whole life to and just don't have a clue. Also most the things I am interested in would make NO money, and thats a priority for me. If anybody has any career suggestions based off of this info and that make decent money, PLEASE let me know!!!
It sounds like you're super interested in either English or History/historical sciences, so picking a university/college with good programs for those classes would be a smart choice. Also, if you're still undecided, maybe picking somewhere where you can easily change your major would be a good choice. Environmental law would be a good choice if you like animals and law, and they make decent money, as well as architecture and aerospace engineer. Good luck!!
