Hey, i need help. I currently have a 3.3 unweighted and 4.3 weighted gpa, i'm taking 10 classes rn 2 ap and 2 AICE and the rest all honors. How can i boost my gpa unweighted and weighted.
I'm not sure if this will be useful but depending on your current grade, you may not have to really worry. If you're a sophomore or freshman (Year 10 and 9, I think is what you call it), so long as you get good grades in going forth, you'll be fine. If it's junior or senior (Year 11 and 12), those still aren't terrible GPAs. I would say to just make sure your grades are good overall. Colleges will see that you took difficult classes and commend you for at least maintaining decent grades. With your essays or the additional information section, you can clarify why your grades are lower than you would have wanted but you're doing great, don't be too hard on yourself!
Based on what you have said, I agree with lilac-green. I'd also say watching fayefilms and Amy Wang on YouTube as they have some great study tips :)
Everyone has a different experience, but for me, I had my priorities in the wrong order, and did what I wanted instead of putting more effort in my academic life. Once I made sure I finished all my homework and studied earlier for quizzes, my grades slowly started to get better. I still struggle with focusing during class, but really trying to pay attention and taking notes (Cornell notes are my favorite) helped me out a lot. My parents also signed me up for an academy nearby, which I think is a great resource. I also love Amy Wang and her videos! <3
