How should I adjust my school list for Cybersecurity/IT?
Answered

3.8 UW / 4.4 W GPA

4 AP classes, projected 18 DE classes by graduation

35 ACT

Band: Section leader 2 years, member of two American Prize-winning wind ensembles. Will audition for All-State this year.

Academic Challenge (3 years, 2 years as captain). Team went to states my freshman year.

Did non-published research over a summer with local university faculty

Internship with regional business doing cybersecurity work.

Reach: Carnegie Mellon (ED applications), Cornell, MIT

Target: Pitt, Case Western, UMich, UW, USC, Purdue

Safety: Cincinnati, Miami OH, Ohio University

Not many schools seem to have dedicated IT/Cybersecurity programs, so if anyone knows of schools with one, I'd like to look into them.

For dedicated programs, consider adding:

Georgia Tech: A world leader in cybersecurity research.

University of Maryland: Their ACES honors program is a perfect fit for your stats.

Virginia Tech: Highly focused on cybersecurity and engineering.

Keep Purdue on your list as it is a top-tier choice for your major. These additions will round out your targets nicely.

I would go to MIT or Cornell. Cornell is ranked around 7th overall for cybersecurity programs. If you want and are able to, there is a college near me that I am going to that has an absolutely amazing cybersecurity program. If you want, I can give you a link to their page.
