Yeah, so I've grown up in New Hampshire and really enjoy it here. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some decent colleges near New Hampshire. Any help would be appreciated!
There are quite a few solid colleges in and around New Hampshire. Within New Hampshire itself, you'll find Dartmouth College, which is part of the Ivy League and is particularly renowned for its programs in the social sciences, STEM fields, and its flexible liberal arts curriculum. Besides that, the University of New Hampshire offers a wide array of majors and has a respected business program.
Looking outwards, in Vermont you've got Middlebury College, which is small and known for its liberal arts focus, as well as superb language programs, and the University of Vermont, which has well-regarded programs in environmental science and health. In Maine, you have the likes of Bowdoin College and Bates College, which both offer an intimate learning environment due to their smaller size.
Down south in Massachusetts, you've got a plethora of universities including Harvard, MIT, Boston College or Northeastern University, all within a few hours' drive, as well as plenty of less selective schools as well.
These are just a few examples. There are many other colleges in the New England area that might fit what you're looking for. It would be best to research further based on your specific academic interests and career objectives, as even schools in the same general area can differ quite a bit in terms of overall vibe.
