Is it a good GPA and what would it be on a 4-point scale?

I am a junior and I have a 92.56 unweighted GPA and a 95.19 weighted GPA. What would my GPA be on a 4 point scale? Is this a good GPA if I apply to NYU? I plan on going into the medical field.

Your GPA is a solid 4.0 weighted and a 3.7 unweighted. That is really good. That means that you have enough to get into NYU congratulations. I hope all goes well. Keep up the good work. :)

Where do you get a 4.0 WGPA if it isn’t above or at a 100? I’m not saying it’s wrong as I have little experience with this scale.

If you are looking at the scale a 93% to 100% is an A and no matter what an A is a 4.0 An A- is 90%-92% which is a 3.7 I hope this answered your question. :)

If someone has 8 classes and gets 7 100% and 1 50% that’s a 93% average but that wouldn’t be a 4.0 in any sense of the system.
