Hello, I've been brainstorming on how to respond to these essay questions but I'm lost. I'm not sure if I should answer these questions straightforwardly or answer them including dialogue, quotes, or anything creative. Any tips?
Tell us about your first stem memory. When did a basic concept first make sense to you. Were you counting apples? Watching your shadow? Collecting leaves? How young were you and how did it make you feel?
What STEM experience have you had within high school? Be sure to include any clubs, science fairs, competitions, or individual research you would like to share. You can also tell us which classes you enjoy most and why?
What are the most meaningful STEM activities you have participated in outside of school? Why are they meaningful? You may include any after-school programs or summer research experiences you have had.
Describe a challenging obstacle you have faced at school or home. How did you deal with the challenge, and what did you learn from it?
It depends on your personality. When colleges view these essays they want to see your personality shine. Most colleges don't really care if you have dialogues are not. If your answer the question in a way that shows your personality is what matters.
