AP Classes vs GPA- Which one matters
Answered

So I have to choose my course recommendations for next year, and I am debating over 2 choices?

AP Phycology with an A in the class (4.7 GPA)

OR

AP Biology with a B in the class (4.0 GPA)

Which one is better and why? Weighted GPA BTW

There are a lot of factors in this decision. What is your GPA now, and how big of an impact will each of these courses have on it? Is it already set that you can only earn a B in AP Biology? What college major and career path are you planning to pursue? Will you be reporting your weighted or unweighted GPA to colleges? Which course are you more interested in? In the end, it's your decision about what class to take, but there needs to be more context to have other people share their opinions on it.

Well, they are both AP, so, at first glace, one would say that an A in AP Phycology is better. However, it does also depend on what you want to major in and what college you want to attend, since different courses may be more desirable to different colleges.
