Does foreign language count into GPA?

I'm a junior, and had to take languages over the summers (in an on-level format) to make room in my schedule for health-science classes that I was interested in. Will this hurt my application to selective schools?

You should ask your school for a copy of your transcript! On there, you will be able to see whether the classes are listed (and therefore part of your GPA). Hope this helps!

Hello! I am also a junior and I am required by the state to take two levels of a foreign language, but of course, not all states have a foreign language requirement. Those classes will count towards your GPA. If you did well in the class, it should not hurt your application! Taking classes in the summer and doing well shows the school how committed you are to school and how dedicated you are. If you didn't do so well, it will show them how you at least tried especially during this time! Keep in mind, selective schools also look at your extracurriculars, your essays, and etc. I hope this answers your question!

I dont think taking classes over the summer will hurt your chances of getting into any schools. As long as you do well in the class that is what really matters.
