High school junior taking SAT test in June.
First things first, are you certain you need one? Have you taken a diagnostic test? Practice is the most effective way to prepare for the SAT, something you can often do on your own. Khan Academy has practice tests for free! If you need even more practice, get or borrow an SAT prep book. If you find that you need more strategies and structure to help you manage the test, go for classes/tutoring. If you are really struggling, figure out why. Is it because you don't know the content? Pacing issues? Work smart and address these issues critically. But I'm here to tell you that SAT tutoring is absolutely not necessary and that you can very much succeed without it. In fact, past a certain score range, tutoring won't help.
Are you talking about a tutor? Besides prep books like the official SAT and Princeton Review, I found Kaplan to be good:)

Barron's SAT prep books are pretty helpful as well
