How many hours of class do you have?
Hello!
I've heard that an average american student spends less time in the classroom compared to a Brazilian student (which is my case), which would make it easier for you guys to have good ECs. Is this true?
An average Brazilian high school student has approximately 35 hours of class a week.

On average I think American students spend about the same time in the classroom, six to seven hours a day. It's a bit different for me now because of online classes though.
I have school form 6:35 to 2 pm each day, which amounts to 7.5 hours per day for a total of 37.5 hours per week. For reference, I have 25 minutes for lunch and passing period (time between classes) is usually 5 mins on a normal year, but 10 mins this year.
