Where should I tutor?
Answered

I want to start tutoring at a learning center. I am good at reading and comprehension skills and fairly decent at math up until pre-calc. Should I tutor students at Kumon, Mathnasium, or Sylvan? (I used to go to Kumon in elementary school and I also have a sibling who is currently in Kumon.) If you have any other suggestions for places to tutor, please comment them down below. Thanks in advance!!

Hey, I think it is great that you want to start tutoring! To me, I think it would be best to tutor students at Kumon since (I'm assuming) you are somewhat familiar with their material! My suggestion is to look into each different school and see how tutoring would be since there would be a difference. There are also online tutoring that you can look into if you are interested in that! Hope this helps!

Hey! I think it's awesome that you want to tutor. I think tutoring not only allows you to help others but it also allows you to learn more. Since you and your sibling both went to Kumon, I think tutoring there would be ideal. I have some friends who tutor at Kumon, and majority of them either went there or still go there. As for other suggestions, I think there was an online tutoring website called Schoolhouse.org that was hosted by Salman Khan from Khan Academy, so you may want to look into that! Regardless, I wish you luck on wherever you decide to tutor at!
