Is your school on a semester or trimester system? How many classes do you take each semester/trimester? Are ap classes weighted as 5.0? Are honors classes weighted as 4.5? Is the 2.73 at the end of junior year or at the end of your first semester? Do you want the 3.0 by the end of senior year or the end of first semester? All this information is needed for the most accurate answer, but with the info you gave it does seem like that gpa increase is mathematically possible, and actually possible if you’re able to earn mostly As

I think it totally depends on your school, but it is nearly impossible to reside in such a short time because you need to get all A+'s in all the weighted and unweighted courses then only there is a chance of increasing your gpa a little, but I think mostly you will be able to raise only a little by 1 or 1.5, so only if you get all As, you will be able to, but remember it depends on your schools to, if your school calculates different, then it may not increase.
