Regarding AP exams

I am from India,I want to apply to Cornell University for the class of 2026.Most of the high schools in india do not provide AP classes. Should I take them separately or is it ok not to take th AP courses.

If your school doesn't offer AP courses it doesn't hurt your application not to take them. However, if you have a way to take the courses and/or tests and think you can do well, go for it.

Hey as an international student you don't need AP classes, the requirements vary for international students, to see what are the requirements for Cornell, go on to this website and check it out. https://admissions.cornell.edu/apply/international-students

Hope this helps!

If you don't do A levels, I would suggest you take the AP courses.

It’s okay to not take them, but might be good to. Colleges look at what your school offers and bases the difficulty of your courses based off of that. However, independently studying and taking AP tests will show your dedication to your education. It comes down to a personal choice for you and how to allot your time.
