I know that Stony Brook focuses a lot on SATs, but I only got a 1130. Are there any programs or books that are very helpful with increasing SAT scores? I also don't have many extracurriculars, so what kind of after school activities should i look into? Collegevine suggest that i put in more tier g activities, but i dont know what that means.
Khan Academy has a really good SAT practice that lets you schedule sets of 10 practice questions for different areas of math and reading found on the SAT. I would also ask your math and English teachers for advice on how to improve your study skills in those areas or work with a tutor through your school's NHS program.
