I can say with 100 percent certainty that IB courses would be more beneficial for college. IB courses are specifically designed to provide a comparable experience to what a university can offer. Honors courses are usually made to challenge someone but not necessarily made to mimic a college experience. A bonus of IB classes is that you can potentially get college credit while honors classes you can not.

IB is far better than honors classes, I believe. If you can take IB classes, go for it, but AP may be just as good too. However, there is the fact that IB may be considered better than AP by colleges. Bottom line: The best might be IB, then AP, then Honors. But even better would be if you take honors classes and either AP or IB.

IB is weighted more for GPA. Usually, an A in an IB is a 5, while in an honors class, it is a 4.5.
