Admissions Advice

The college I'm interested in doesn't seem to offer any scholarships
Answered

Hi. I hope you're having a great day.

So I am interested in applying to Houghton college in New York but they don't seem to offer scholarships and i would really love to apply for a scholarship. Do you know if I'm just not looking hard enough or do some schools not offer scholarships. I've checked the school's website but I didn't find anything useful.

Thanks for answering. Bye

Try emailing the admissions counselor as most schools have a virtual meeting set up due to covid to get the most accurate answer. Besides that, if you want scholarships in general, there are many more options from private organizations that give scholarships, so don't limit yourself to just school ones. Hopefully this will help.

They do offer scholarships. This section was inconveniently buried on their website.

Hi!! I don't know much about this college, but I found this: https://www.houghton.edu/undergraduate/houghton-ny/tuition-aid/types-of-aid/scholarships-and-grants/ . I also know you can apply to scholarships outside the school. You can also email admissions officers or financial aid from that college to see what the options are. Good luck!!
