How are IB MYP courses weighted by colleges?

In an IB school, I took IB MYP classes in freshman and junior year. In junior and senior year, I take IB DP courses (which are weighted like AP courses). I have not seen a sure answer on how IB MYP classes are weighted by colleges. They are definitely easier than AP courses, but I do not know how much harder they are compared to normal courses.

ANSWER: Having graduated from HS and gotten into a T20 university, IBMYP classes are worthless compared to IBDP and AP classes. If we look at Stanford's external test credit chart ( studentservices.stanford.edu/my-academics/earn-my-degree/undergraduate-degree-progress/test-transfer-credit/external-test-0 ) as a good proxy for class importance, notice all IB classes listed are DP classes with a test. Thus if you have a choice between MYP classes and AP/IBDP classes, always pick AP/IBDP.

Did you ever get the answer to this question? How did your school weight the IB MYP classes on your transcript?

It really depends on the college. All the colleges weigh the GPAs differently. Some actually take APs and IBs together and weigh them the exact same... (Like UCs). I would advise you to check out their websites or search up "Reddit [college name] IB courses" and get more details
