Yes, they are keeping the test optional status. However, if you are a student-athlete it doesn't seem like a decision has been made for testing yet. Definitely possible that has changed since the article is from January: https://admissions.upenn.edu/blog/revised-testing-policy-2021-2022-admissions-cycle
