help finding cousellors online
hello,
I am currently a junior in high school and I wanted to find a counselor online as the one in my school isn't that helpful. I've tried look for some online but I couldn't find any :/ i would really be grateful if i could get any help finding one :)

Would you consider yourself belonging to a marginalized group or low income? Are you a high-achieving HS student? I'm asking this because there are online counseling services specifically tailored to help those who can't help themselves. If you can answer something about your background etc, I can give you some pointers.
There are several competitive programs that offer counseling help to students as well as scholarships, however I'm pretty sure it's too late. Make sure you don't just trust anything you find online, be careful with your information, and don't fall to scams. The best thing you can do is probably to just research things for yourself. The answers are out there.
You can also email your admissions counselor at a college you've applied to, depending on your questions. Often, if they are a smaller college, they will have more time to talk to you. Don't be annoying though and make sure you keep it relevant to your application to that school.

Sorry to jump to this comment but I consider myself both. Because of my country's bad economy, I'm considered as a low income student and I believe that I'm high achieving. Could you give me some pointers as you said please?
