For community service hours, how do you get your hours recorded? Do you just tell your school you volunteered somewhere or...?
Hi @OrangeJuice
For me what we do is record all our hours through x2vol a tracking website where the person in charge of where you volunteer will verify your hours through a link. But before this, you mark down what you did where and explain a bit of its significance. Good Luck!!!
Record them in Innerview.org. It saves all of your volunteer hours and also gives you awards for the hours you complete ie 25 hours bronze award, 50 hours silver award, 100 hours gold award, etc. Our school uses this too.
For my school, we have this award where you keep track of them by having the supervisor sign off on the number of hours you volunteered. Other times, it's honor code, so you keep track of them yourself on some spreadsheet or something.
When recording, make sure you write down what you volunteered for, how many hours, the date, and the supervisor.
To keep this community safe and supportive:
also explain what you did too !! make sure you have some way to verify it too. good luck !
