I work very hard but can't help feeling mediocre, especially as a mere freshman. I have always aspired to go to a top college but worry I'm not doing enough to differentiate myself from the average applicant. Any suggestions on how I can start now to stand out in my application?
I really appreciate your responses <3!
P.S. For a little background on my situation I do:
-volunteering at blanchet house
-mock trial
-philosophy, writing, and drama club
-soccer
-theatre
-have 4.0
-and want to start a club next year
You could do a sport or do debate if your school has it, I would personally recommend student government. Make sure to keep your grades up, too. But the colleges will be impressed with you staying focused on good grades while also excelling in a sport or student government. Also, volunteering can look really good on applications. Hope this helps👋
