My college vine is always telling me that I have room to improve in the extracurriculars section. Does anyone have suggestions?
Try to expand on what you already have and look for leadership roles! For example, if you are part of a coding club, try to expand on your activity by making an app, teaching younger kids inn your community how to code and etc. It is not just coding but any other activity you are interested in. Just think outside of the box and explore other potentials. Also, try virtual volunteering! I suggest using VolunteerMatch.org to find opportunities you might like! I hope this helps.
I would say that you have to grow your activities and take it to next level. For example, if you are currently a member of a school club, try and apply for board positions that would demonstrate your leadership skills, that should move you up the"tier"
I suggest joining small clubs through your school. Many schools offer Student Council, DECA, Debate and many more. Many of these clubs offer leadership opportunities.
