My common app essay is about an extracurricular. How do I mention this extracurricular on my application since I go in depth with it in my essay?

For an essay it shouldn't be a biographical section of your extracurriculars. However if it is about a specific thing you did like how you got interested in it something tidbit includes a few tidbits about the EC its fine but it shouldn't be I joined xyz club and then I did A with x club I also did B and C with the club. However all ECs should be listed in the EC section however if the essay is biographical Id advise reworking the essay.
