Is writing about being an indigenous in your country too cliche and common. Like writing about the problems I faced as being both minority and an indigenous.

So I feel it’s somewhat obvious but yes it’s a great idea so long as you don’t try to solely focus on how race/ethnicity cuase diffuculty. Instead try to have the essay about what you did to overcome challenges and focus the essay on you not the problems. So TLDR use the problems you faced to talk about yourself.

Also somewhat obvious don’t for lack of a better word play the race card. Saying I’m X therefore life is hard isn’t a valid. Instead give context in your circumstances and show how you overcame.

This applies for native Americans and I believe the correct term Inuit. I’ll edit if you are native internationally.

I am an international student. How do you describe the fact like many people in our country are not aware of the norms and culture of the indigenous and often we face racist comments from them. So writing for a page and giving the surroundings knowledge about the culture and how the indigenous feel about the racist comments. Is it a good thing to write
