Do waiver letters work for college application fees
Answered

I asked my guidance counselor how to get waivers for college applications and he wrote me a letter, so how does that work when I apply?

I don't think that's going to work. If you've taken the SAT and received a fee waiver for that then you can get an application fee waiver fairly easily. I'd recommend checking out this link: https://www.nacacfairs.org/learn/fee-waiver/ to learn a bit more about fee waivers and then I would fill out this form: https://www.nacacfairs.org/globalassets/college-fair--homepage/ncf-documents/learn/2018decfeewaiver-fillable.pdf. After you fill out that form you should send it directly to the college's office of admission
