What should I tick in the Coursework section of the SAT registration form?
Answered

I was trying to fill up the SAT registration form and it asked about my coursework. I am from India and we don't have the same coursework as it is written in the form. For eg- Geometry has been taught from middle school till the last year of high school, there is no such chapter/course as pre-calculus, algebra 2 topics are spread through our before9th, 9th and 10th grade.

Is there any way I can find the Indian (CBSE) equivalents of the US coursework?

If I fill something inaccurately, will I get into trouble for it?

You won't get in trouble in you fill out the coursework portion on SAT registration incorrectly. It is self-reported by students and is used by the CollegeBoard organization for research. While there isn't any resource out there that allows you to see the Indian (CBSE) equivalents of the US coursework, just try to report your coursework as closely as you can.

Yep, just want to echo what @biogirl2022 said. There's no need to stress over this because it's all just data the CollegeBoard collects on students for whatever research they are doing. Check out this (slightly outdated) link if you want to know more about the questionnaire you filled out. I think it should be around page 21. https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/sat-registration-booklet-students.pdf
