Community involvement amidst covid
Answered

Since last year when covid got on peak , I've been completely at home with rarely going out on walks at late night .

I feel community service / involvement is very important for college admissions and now I feel very insecure because I couldn't do anything outside my house . How should I deal with it ?

I'm an international (asian) student aiming ivy league universities .

Thank you.

First, how long do you have before you start applying for colleges? You need to figure out how much time you have left.

Second, if you're a rising senior, GET SOME COMMUNITY SERVICE NOW!!! There are plenty of online ways to do community service. You could even find some in-person community service. If you need suggestions, ASK AROUND!!! If you aren't going into your senior year, you still have plenty of time left. You can just fill the rest of your high school career with community service.

I think that there is not really anything you can do about it, but I don't think it will hurt your admissions much if at all.
