Does the College Vine chancing simulator take residence into account?

For example, for NC public schools, does the College Vine simulator look at NC residents differently than Non-Residents when thinking about chancing. NC schools are limited to 18% non-res and the rates of acceptance are much different. Same is true for many other states.

I do not believe so. I changed by zip code to Ashville NC and the changing percentage was exactly the same as Oregon for UNC, Chapel Hill.
