What's New at CollegeVine
Hey everyone, can you believe July is almost over already?! Whether you're taking time to build out your application profile or just relaxing and enjoying your time off, I hope everyone's summer has been going well! While you all have been recovering from a crazy and unconventional school year we've been hard at work improving and adding features to CollegeVine.
~~Extracurricular Tier Improvements~~
We've made some exciting changes to our EC tiering system based on student feedback! You'll notice our tiers now consist of Tier 4a, b, c; Tier 3a, b, c; Tier 2a, b, c; and Tier 1a, b, c. This won't impact your chances at all, it's just a new naming convention that is more consistent with the extracurricular guidance provided by our blog articles and livestream videos. In addition to the name change we've also added a pyramid to help visualize the difference in tiers and make them easier to understand.
Again, there will be no changes to anyone's chances because of this change - it's a naming change only. You can check it out here: https://www.collegevine.com/profile/edit/extracurriculars
Please let us know if you have any feedback!
~~New Livestream Host and Expert: Moriah Adeghe~~
We'd like to give a warm welcome to our newest livestream host and community expert @MoriahAdeghe ! Moriah graduated from Cornell and majored in Policy Analysis & Management. If you're interested in learning more about her major or what it's like to attend Cornell I recommend checking out two of her livestreams which I've linked below. Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more livestreams from her in the future.
