CollegeVine Profiles

I like to watch recordings of profile reviews on Collegevine live streams, and I keep noticing how a lot of applicants have REALLY strong extracurriculars--e.g., earning tens of thousands of dollars, running presidential campaigns, or recognition at the national level. I transferred just last year and was wondering whether it's just the pool of Collegevine users that have above-average extraccs? Or do a lot of high schoolers have at least one of these stats?

I feel college vine users here are over achievers. I have basic EC’s at school, city and one state level, nothing at national level or running campaigns or raising thousands of funds or running businesses . People I know are more like me around where I live. Not a lot of high schoolers have those stats.
