international qualifications?
Answered

hey everyone, I'm confused as to what category I would be considered in college admissions as I was born and grew up in California but my family moved to another country while I was in middle school, all of my high school grades are international qualifications. Will I be considered an international student in admissions? will I be eligible for financial aid as a US citizen or will I not be considered since I studied abroad? thanks for your help.

Hi there! I'm not exactly sure what category of admission you would be in. Now that doesn't mean give up hope. Here's something you can do!

If you find a college you might consider applying to, go to their website. The college or university should have a contact page. Whether it's FAQ or admissions counselors' contact information.

There could be an email for incoming freshmen out of state and international. Just select one, and send the email. This may sound a bit confusing, which I why I have another idea.

I am considering applying and going to Arizona State. So I've been on ASU's site many times. I will give you a link to their international webpage. All you need to do is scroll through the page, and see what you need.

Let me know if there's anything I need to clarify!
