international qualifications?

hey everyone, I'm confused as to what category I would be considered in college admissions as I was born and grew up in California but my family moved to another country while I was in middle school, all of my high school grades are international qualifications. Will I be considered an international student in admissions? will I be eligible for financial aid as a US citizen or will I not be considered since I studied abroad? thanks for your help.

You would be considered a U.S citizen. I have friends who were only born in U.S and they grew up in Nigeria, and now they're applying as a U.S. citizen
