Art Credit

Briefly, I need to do a full year of artwork graduate. As this is not my intended major or “spike”, should I do it junior or senior year?

Also, I am applying to the most selective schools, so I will be taking almost exclusively honors and AP in junior and senior year.

I would suggest taking it your senior year unless the schools you're applying to explicitly require one full year of art to be completed before you apply. Instead of taking art your junior year, you can take another AP and possibly increase your weighted GPA when you're applying.
