Are you planning on submitting a standardized test score ?

For the benefit of the younger CV members, I think it would be very useful to share whether you are planning to submit test scores this application cycle.

I think this poll will help other members understand what the sentiment is about test-optional policies in light of how test scores definitely influenced admissions decisions last cycle.

Please fill out the poll only if you are a senior applying to college this year. My gut reaction is that Seniors are seriously considering submitting test scores despite 99% of schools being test-optional.

Clearly, the takeaway is that 3/4 of CV seniors are going to be submitting a test score. That seems in line with what Top School admits were doing the last cycle as well.

Applying test-optional is a big decision - if you're still debating what option is best for you, you should check out this recent blog post we made on how COVID has affected test scores and admissions.
